CURA is partnering with Seattle-based DBT and mindfulness therapist, Cristina Mullen, to host a bi-weekly digital gathering space for mindfulness meditation and community connection. Every Friday morning, we will meet on Zoom for guided meditation, sharing, and deep listening. Our intention is to co-create a space for support and connection, letting that sense of community build and sustain our strength through this intensely stressful period of our lives. You can access our chat room via smartphone, tablet, or PC using the link here. This event is free of charge.
About Cristina Mullen:
Cristina Mullen is a Seattle-based psychotherapist in private practice. She is delighted to partner with CURA to provide a space for folks to gather and nourish connection, caring and a felt sense of belonging during this time of physical isolation. She sees how this pandemic heightens our awareness of our interconnectedness and asks the question, what is the impact when we hold social distancing as an act of love versus one motivated by fear?
Cristina has studied and practiced Mindfulness and Meditation both as a psychotherapist and as a Buddhist Practitioner for over 20 years. She is an active member of Mindfulness Community of Puget Sound that practices in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh and is currently in the two-year Mindfulness Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach PhD and Jack Kornfield PhD.
