A beautiful made-to-order line by Shannon Kelly of Orphan Ten. Handmade in her backyard studio, each marbleized planter showcases three different clays, subtleties in shape, and glaze break. Suspended by hand-tied paracord knots to hang from your ceiling or outdoors.
Orphan Ten is one of our most beloved friends at CURA. She is known for her handmade functional ceramics, fired on a full or new moon as a monthly ritual. Shannon Kelly's work is layered from the use of glazes, oxides, melted raw minerals, crystal deposits or a bit of paint splatter to 'conjure a sense of alchemy, illumination, and harmony' as she likes to word her process. We're honored to be carrying her unique pieces as a percentage is donated to Crafting The Future, Lavender Rights Project, and the Duwamish Tribe acknowledging the land she's on to create in harmony.
